Okay, so basically in art class, this is a project I did. Art teacher said we have to make a logo that expresses us as a clothing line or record label, or redesign the school logo...I asked if I could re-do the CIA Insignia/Logo, as I had a really neat and symbolic idea for it. This is the end result, rife with symbolism and accurate measurements (ARGH!!)
Hmmm, 12 is a very predominant theme here (12 ribbons on top, 12 olive leaves, 12 arrows), as well as derivatives of it (six wings, six bottom ribbons). I suppose I should have made it 13 (to stand for the original 13 colonies as well as thats how it is on most US Seals), but 12 is my favorite number  .The Pyramid/Eye is the Divine Eye of Providence, same as on the back of the dollar bill, symbol for God and divine protection. The three-headed eagle represents the directions of destiny - the left faces toward peace, The right toward war, and the center faces up, or toward God/The Divine Eye. Essentially it says "protection, in war, and in peace, now and forever.". Same with the olive leaves in the left talon, arrows in the right. The 16 point star is the same one on the current CIA logo, and it is the Cardinal star, representing information from all corners of the Earth. So...hope it's liked well ...scanner ate the bottom  |
